Thoughts on Apple Inc.

It’s no lie that I like Apple products. I have a MacBook Pro, two iPods (80 GB Classic and 8 GB 1st generation iPod Touch, and a recently purchased Magic Mouse. I think that Apple makes some great products, even though I’ll admit that some of them are a bit overpriced.

Is the price justified? After this last week, I firmly believe so. My MacBook Pro was having problems burning CDs and DVDs. Since I have AppleCare, I called up Apple to get my laptop fixed. I talked to them for about 15 minutes during the mid-morning on Friday. The rep agreed that I needed the drive replaced, so they shipped me a box so I could send my MacBook to them. It was overnighted via FedEx and arrived on Saturday. Talk about awesome customer service.

The box was super nice and even included little strips of tape to seal the box. I sent the box back on Monday. Once again it was overnighted to Apple, arrived Tuesday morning, and the repairs were completed that day. Another overnighted box arrived at my house Wednesday morning. I made sure that everything works, and I was completely satisfied with the speed and quality of the repairs.
