I made some fruit soup tonight, and it’s absolutely delicious. I thought that I should save share this recipe with others. I got it from a Hungarian, so it’s pretty legit.

Yesterday I watched one of the most amazing documentaries I’ve ever seen, Afghan Star. I knew it would be interesting to see how an American Idol-like show does in Afghanistan, but it also showed many interesting insights into their culture and history. I had no idea of the how influential religion and the Taliban has been. I was really moved by the challenges that the people have had to overcome and the changes they’ve seen. It made me realize how blesses we are to enjoy our freedoms and really be a “light unto all the nations.” I would highly recommend seeing it.

What’s the best part about taking a long road trip across America? It’s gotta be the awesome food you eat along the way.
